Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is nicely decorated, clean, and tidy with spacious bathrooms featuring a bath and shower, which is a plus. While the rooms are a bit dated, they are still comfortable overall. The location, facing the ocean along the Coast Road just north of Ballygally, is excellent for exploring the Glens and Causeway Coast. The staff, including Pearl, Sean, Phil, and the girls, are friendly and down-to-earth. Dining options are decent with a buffet style breakfast included in the price. However, the layout of the hotel with long corridors and stairs can be a bit inconvenient.
The hotel had extremely clean and super comfortable rooms, but it was very dark and could have been brighter and airier. Unfortunately, the windows wouldn't close, making it too cold to shower; this aspect would deter me from returning as it's not worth the price for such cold conditions. However, the hotel was next to the water tank.
The hotel offers a magnificent sea view but falls short with small beds. The room was newly refurbished, spotless, and spacious, yet the shower could be improved. The service was attentive and friendly, making the stay pleasant. The location, though beautiful, is a bit far from Belfast. The dining experience was mixed, with friendly owners but room for improvement in the breakfast selection. Overall, a decent stay with some drawbacks.
